Most people get really nervous before an interview.
Either your dream job or your first interview you always have a few things you should really look into.
Here are a few things my boyfriend and I always make sure we do before an interview..

• Look into the job you are applying for, it never looks good when you apply for a data entry job and you have no idea how to use the system they work on (at least make sure you know what the system is called)

• What kind of job is it?  Should you be super dressed up?  Jeans okay? Skirt?  Facial hair?  Dyed hair? (blue, pink, and purple tend to be looked down on)

• Always look up some common interview questions before and go over how you would answer them. Have someone in the car with you before hand to ask them or at least go over them right before you walk in.  
• Leave early!!  We leave an hour and a half early so if anything goes wrong you can still make it.  

• Plan your outfit ahead of time so if you need anything washed you can wash it, or go buy appropriate clothes. (nothing is more stressful than having to run to Walmart to find a shirt that fits and is dressy enough to wear to a job interview. 

I know what some of you are thinking...

"A lot of buissness don't care if I wear jeans so I will forever wear jeans to everything because the world won't really care!"

In able to get a good job... Unfortunately you will have to wear good dress pants/skirt. It's about image.  And sometimes it is good to be "old fashiond"

Even if you are applying for a job where everyone wears jeans.  It can be a very good first impression to dress up a little.  You would stand out in a very professional way.  

I hope this helps!  I also hope this explains a lot as well.  Remember this is coming from two 20 yr olds who have been living on their own for a while.  We have learned from family and our own experiences.  

Nothing looks better than having confidence in your self during your interview.

So, i am now posting this from my bedroom in my dads house, We are staying here for two months until we save enough money to move into the apartment.
We are pretty set on This one place but are not completely convinced yet.
We like it here, but its just so funny because we have everything in boxed in the game room and have got more of our pets things then our own in our room.

We Should be moving out November 1st. We are going to be having multiple garage sales for a while until we have quite a bit of money stacked up and most of our things are gone. we aren't taking a lot AT ALL!!
I super scared yet surprisingly excited all at the same time!
It's a whole new chapter in our crazy book. We have got to start our lives how we would like.
Were debating going over to England and doing a study abroad program and seeing if we really like it over there. we love the way it looks and love the idea of it... but do not completely know if we want to live there for years. :) (Definitely interested)

Our Ex-roommate up and left all of the sudden to go into the army and he left ALL of his stuff. His bed, dresser, lamp, chairs, table, dinning set, china wear, silver wear, games, weight set, half his drawers were full of random stuff! That made our move 10 times harder, we had a Large moving van my boyfriends truck, extended back and cab and my own car and we still had to take 5 trips for EVERYTHING!

We're finishing up all the little things..  Like cleaning and such today. I reallh hope it goes by quick.

Here are some tips incase you are moving
1. Pack everything before hand. 
2. Get two or three trucks or trailers. 
3. Throw away as much as you can!! 
4. Garage sale, garage sale, garage sale!!
5. Keep out your toothbrush, hair brush, favorite clothes, razor and Anything else you use daily. 

Just a few ideas to help you think and keep a straight head next time you move.

WE WENT TO IKEA!!! <3

It was so much fun! I love furniture shopping.

If you don't know what Ikea is, its basically a super awesome furniture store.

We decided to try to go ahead and buy some new things :) 

well, at least try to find the furniture that we would like. 

Since we are moving and downsizing from a 915 sq. ft to a 550 sq. ft we have a lot of thinking to do about how we are going to store all of our things.

 ^^ Hanging shelves! You push in the panel and they pop open, they come in two or a single and we really like them, thinking of hanging them over the couch.

 ^^ Were moving into a very small place so we are trying to plan so we can fit everything in so once we get our computers we thought this would be a good way to have two desks in our room with out taking up so much space.

 ^^ This for the bathroom would be a very good way to hang our bath room hand towels instead of just placing them on the counter.

 ^^ I thought these were cute for inside of the cabinets, or even on the counters in case we don't have enough counter or pantry space.

 ^^ Because we have so little space, we are thinking about going with a smaller dinning table like this one, Or something that will fit in the corner with a bunch of storage.

^^ These just looked cute and i want them! ^_^

So..
Moving is basically packing up all the junk you don't really need.. and throwing in boxes, to take to another destination. . To take out of the box.. to sit in your house to *for the most part* sit their and look pretty....

I want to start somthing new....

When you have to move. . Just throw away all the useless junk you never use..
Somethings are allowed. Like momentos.. but somethings are just silly.

You can make it into a game. In good spirits. Who can take less stuff..

As you may or may not know i currently am having to up and move out of my current town home. 

When we originally moved out we were supposed to have a few weeks until our roommate moved in, but he never did. We kept getting excuse after excuse... it seemed like a never ending cycle. eventually all of our savings had gone and we couldn't afford the rent. 

A right when we were giving up looking for a new roommate we found one! Everything was fine and dandy until he decided to move up north and join the military. 

So he gave us two months rent and a fair warning that he was leaving and he was just gone. So here we are, looking for a new place to stay, We went ahead about two weeks ago and put in our 30 days at our apartments to let them know we are going to be leaving. were currently moving in with my father which is all fine and dandy except the fact that granted we may all love each other.. but I'm looking to move out asap :)

We have seen and toured a total of seven places with all the different prices, policies, etc.

I decided to come up with a list of things to remember when looking for a new apartment/flat.
I am in no way an expert, just a young adult learning as i go. 

                                                  

1. While looking through the endless piles of online ads, Sunday papers and Google maps
don't forget that the price they give you is ONLY the base price. They will end up adding maybe
 a sewage fee, a valet trash fee, if you have a pet there is normally a pet rent, pet deposit, or
sometimes even both!

2. Square footage!!
Think about the size of apartment you want, obviously your budget will mostly
determine the size of apartment you get but you could choose between different square footage.
Somethings to think about are how many people will you be living with, just you? a boyfriend/girlfriend? A roommate or two? That can change things a lot so make sure you plan accordingly.
Also the smaller apartment the less furniture (duh) lol, your electricity bill will be lower than if you rent a larger place, smaller may be cozy as a large place might not be as cozy, less furniture to buy in smaller places, A large place would have more space for furniture, you can have more people over and
maybe even stay the night, as well as have more storage space than in a smaller apartment.

3. ALWAYS REMEMBER: Think about the surrounding area you could be possibly living in, if its a not so nice area with the perfect apartment... It might not be worth it. Your costs of fixing slashed tires,broken windows and possibly a burglary may just push your budget over the edge.
Sometimes car insurance companies wont cover damages done by an
 individual for who-knows-what reason. :/

4. Think about how far you are away from your family, friends, and school/work.
You may save on rent but not on gas. :/
You could always take the bus :/ I've never liked the bus.

5.Your floor plan may look nice on paper, but when you start trying to put furniture in the
apartment it just might not fit. Some apartment complexes just do not have a good use of space.

these are just a few things that i think about a lot while looking at an apartment, It helps if you take a peice of paper or little composition book with you to rate these things and take notes!
You will really appreciate it in the long run ^_^
