Moving tips/So Yesterday we started our journey...

Monday, August 18, 2014
So, i am now posting this from my bedroom in my dads house, We are staying here for two months until we save enough money to move into the apartment.
We are pretty set on This one place but are not completely convinced yet.
We like it here, but its just so funny because we have everything in boxed in the game room and have got more of our pets things then our own in our room.
#petparentsproblems  #Spoiledlittlebrats

We Should be moving out November 1st. We are going to be having multiple garage sales for a while until we have quite a bit of money stacked up and most of our things are gone. we aren't taking a lot AT ALL!!
I super scared yet surprisingly excited all at the same time!
It's a whole new chapter in our crazy book. We have got to start our lives how we would like.
Were debating going over to England and doing a study abroad program and seeing if we really like it over there. we love the way it looks and love the idea of it... but do not completely know if we want to live there for years. :) (Definitely interested)

Our Ex-roommate up and left all of the sudden to go into the army and he left ALL of his stuff. His bed, dresser, lamp, chairs, table, dinning set, china wear, silver wear, games, weight set, half his drawers were full of random stuff! That made our move 10 times harder, we had a Large moving van my boyfriends truck, extended back and cab and my own car and we still had to take 5 trips for EVERYTHING!
We're finishing up all the little things..  Like cleaning and such today. I reallh hope it goes by quick.

Here are some tips incase you are moving
1. Pack everything before hand.
2. Get two or three trucks or trailers.
3. Throw away as much as you can!!
4. Garage sale, garage sale, garage sale!!
5. Keep out your toothbrush, hair brush, favorite clothes, razor and Anything else you use daily.
Just a few ideas to help you think and keep a straight head next time you move.

packing stinks.

Friday, August 15, 2014
We're moving everything this weekend...

It's currently 7:34 on friday afternoon...

We have only packed a few boxes. ...

Part of our problem is we have so much stuff we are downsizing and having to go through everything.
It's quite obnoxious. Lol

Tonight we will probably take a few boxes as we are moving to my dads for two months then into our new place.

I'm excited.  ^_^
Yet all I want to do is sleep.!!

Oh goodness.

I have a favor to ask of anyone reading this..
If you have any packing tips feel free to add them in the comments!

Thank you!!

What if..

Tuesday, August 12, 2014

You know. .
Everyone is always focused on the "what if's" ...

"What if your roommate leaves you?"
"What if your relationship doesn't work?"
"What if your paycheck isn't as high as you expected?"

"What if you live your whole life worrying about the negatives and never have time to live in the positives?"

I have been and "adult" out of high school for just about one year and 3 months. . .
What have I learned?
More life lessons than I ever did in school, now I'm not saying that school teaches you nothing. .
But they don't exactly equip you with somethings you need in life that maybe they could. .
Like how to read your electric bill, water bill, rent?  Etc.

Now should parents maybe teach us these things? Yeah probably, but i feel that's a whole other subject that I have no say in since I'm not a parent yet. :)

ONE of the things I have learned is it is very hard to be positive and because you are so young, basically a freshie to life, all the elders around you are going to be saying "what if?"

And it will 8 times out of 10 piss you off...
But they are only doing it to make sure you have thought about all things that might happen.
Should that discourage you from what you want to do? NO
but definately keep it in consideration while making your decision.

Believe it or not you will make mistakes, everyone does and everyone will. It's just part of being a living creature and having a mind. Your parents made mistakes,  and so have your grandparents.
You have to take your mistakes and their mistakes and find the best thing to do. . . For YOU.

If all you ever do is focus on the "what if's" you won't be happy because everything has its consequences.

So take everything into consideration, don't let the negatives and possibilities hold you back, because if you make a pros and cons list.. you just may find that the pros out weigh the cons about 90% of the time.

My furniture shopping day at Ikea!

Sunday, August 10, 2014
^^ Super yummy smelling candle I got.
WE WENT TO IKEA!!! <3
It was so much fun! I love furniture shopping.
If you don't know what Ikea is, its basically a super awesome furniture store.

We decided to try to go ahead and buy some new things :)
well, at least try to find the furniture that we would like.
Since we are moving and downsizing from a 915 sq. ft to a 550 sq. ft we have a lot of thinking to do about how we are going to store all of our things.

^^ Hanging shelves! You push in the panel and they pop open, they come in two or a single and we really like them, thinking of hanging them over the couch.
^^ Were moving into a very small place so we are trying to plan so we can fit everything in so once we get our computers we thought this would be a good way to have two desks in our room with out taking up so much space.
^^ This for the bathroom would be a very good way to hang our bath room hand towels instead of just placing them on the counter.

^^ I thought these were cute for inside of the cabinets, or even on the counters in case we don't have enough counter or pantry space.
^^ Because we have so little space, we are thinking about going with a smaller dinning table like this one, Or something that will fit in the corner with a bunch of storage.
^^ These just looked cute and i want them! ^_^

moving thoughts.

So..
Moving is basically packing up all the junk you don't really need.. and throwing in boxes, to take to another destination. . To take out of the box.. to sit in your house to *for the most part* sit their and look pretty....

I want to start somthing new....

When you have to move. . Just throw away all the useless junk you never use..
Somethings are allowed. Like momentos.. but somethings are just silly.

You can make it into a game. In good spirits. Who can take less stuff..

If you have any moving advice put it in the comments or message me! :)

Help??

Midnight Posting #2 ^_^

Thursday, August 7, 2014
Hey guys!!
Soo next weekend, not this coming up weekend but the next.
Were moving out of our apartment and into my dads to play the "saving money and waiting game" ...Not fun.. lol

I'll probably post about that later this week. sorry i haven't posted in a few days i have been quite busy. :)
I'm starting school in about 2 weeks. I only have 2 classes though so it won't be horrible.
What kind of school are you in? I'm currently in community college then going to transfer.

I think it is strange when you think about how we day dream about the future.. then its suddenly the future and your like "... I'm so not ready for this" but life is like "OHWELL" *drags you along anyway* ... No .. just me?? lol

i am really liking this blogging thing :) its a lot of fun i get to type and type and just talk about what ever i fancy.

I really miss my mom and sisters, if you didn't know they moved to arizona right after i graduated in july 2013, it was a difficult time for me because i was so used to our routine i had to move in with my dad (whom i love btw) but it was 45 minutes away from all of my friends and boyfriend so i wasn't very happy, i also hated my job at the time so i was a very unhappy person. But i have learned from it and grow and feel i am a stronger person for having it happened.
SORRY THAT TOOK SUCH AN UPSETTING TURN!

I really am shocked how many people i will have emailing me or even just looking at my blogs everyday i never expected this many people to be interested :)
So Thank You!! It makes my blogs alot more thought out and when you guys give me suggestions i really enjoy it because i feel like i am doing this for someone else and not just myself :)
If you ever have a problem, just need to talk, or want me to write about something particular just comment or message me :)

Good night !!

SHARK WEEK AT LUSH!!!

Monday, August 4, 2014

Hello everyone!
I wanted to bring up a topic i am very passionate about.
I absolutely love the ocean. One day i am going to be a marine biologist and save all of the beautiful fishies! Mean while i am stuck here in my apartment trying to volunteer all i can to help while i am in school.
(beach clean ups, sea turtle watches, etc)

I will probably keep you updated with information about different ways you can help out with other causes i am passionate about!

THIS IS ONE OF THEM!

The company Lush is having Shark Week, As well as trying to make the oceans safer for these majestic animals we are also helping with the clean up of oceans all around the world.
People don't always realize the impact we have on our beautiful oceans, or how what we do miles and miles away from the ocean can harm it. We are having BIG problems with bleaching of coral reefs, those are serious ecosystem boosters that when they die off, many species of ocean life will die off as well.

I'm very excited to share this news with you as i have been seeing more and more advocates for helping clean, save, and just help research our oceans. Since we know so little about them!

Believe it or not the ocean helps contribute to the amount of oxygen our atmosphere has. I think that's a pretty darn good reason to try to keep it as tip top shape as possible!

The company also has a ton of amazing things like bath bombs, body lotions, feet care, shower and hair products and currently they have a special line for shark week! :)

If you would like i could do a haul for you ! just comment or message me if you would like it! i will do it as soon as possible!

Thank You So Much!

Apartment/Flat Hunting

As you may or may not know i currently am having to up and move out of my current town home.
When we originally moved out we were supposed to have a few weeks until our roommate moved in, but he never did. We kept getting excuse after excuse... it seemed like a never ending cycle. eventually all of our savings had gone and we couldn't afford the rent.

A right when we were giving up looking for a new roommate we found one! Everything was fine and dandy until he decided to move up north and join the military.
So he gave us two months rent and a fair warning that he was leaving and he was just gone. So here we are, looking for a new place to stay, We went ahead about two weeks ago and put in our 30 days at our apartments to let them know we are going to be leaving. were currently moving in with my father which is all fine and dandy except the fact that granted we may all love each other.. but I'm looking to move out asap :)
(No offence daddy!! <3 ^_^ love you!)
We have seen and toured a total of seven places with all the different prices, policies, etc.
I decided to come up with a list of things to remember when looking for a new apartment/flat.
I am in no way an expert, just a young adult learning as i go.

1. While looking through the endless piles of online ads, Sunday papers and Google maps
don't forget that the price they give you is ONLY the base price. They will end up adding maybe
a sewage fee, a valet trash fee, if you have a pet there is normally a pet rent, pet deposit, or
sometimes even both!

2. Square footage!!
Think about the size of apartment you want, obviously your budget will mostly
determine the size of apartment you get but you could choose between different square footage.
Somethings to think about are how many people will you be living with, just you? a boyfriend/girlfriend? A roommate or two? That can change things a lot so make sure you plan accordingly.
Also the smaller apartment the less furniture (duh) lol, your electricity bill will be lower than if you rent a larger place, smaller may be cozy as a large place might not be as cozy, less furniture to buy in smaller places, A large place would have more space for furniture, you can have more people over and
maybe even stay the night, as well as have more storage space than in a smaller apartment.

3. ALWAYS REMEMBER: Think about the surrounding area you could be possibly living in, if its a not so nice area with the perfect apartment... It might not be worth it. Your costs of fixing slashed tires, broken windows and possibly a burglary may just push your budget over the edge.
Sometimes car insurance companies wont cover damages done by an
 individual for who-knows-what reason. :/

4. Think about how far you are away from your family, friends, and school/work.
You may save on rent but not on gas. :/
You could always take the bus :/ I've never liked the bus.

5.Your floor plan may look nice on paper, but when you start trying to put furniture in the
apartment it just might not fit. Some apartment complexes just do not have a good use of space.

these are just a few things that i think about a lot while looking at an apartment, It helps if you take a peice of paper or little composition book with you to rate these things and take notes!
You will really appreciate it in the long run ^_^

Wantable Box = MAKE UP! *Touched up and finished*

Friday, August 1, 2014
I didnt notice when i posted this before a week ago that i never finished it! I'm So sorry!
Here is the updated posting:

Hey guys!
So this is the second month i got the wantable box. I wanted to wait to see if they kept up with the higher end products in their boxes and i have been very pleased. not disappointed at all!
I figured i would show you what i got, how i like it, and where to find each item if you would like to purchase it your self :)

This is the box that the wantable products come in:
When you open it. It looks like this :)
This is almost exactly how it was packaged.
 1. Vincent Longo dew drop radiant blush: I really like the way this looks. It doesn't take a lot of product to add some color. It's light weight and has a small glimmer to it but not so much to add an awkward amount of sparkle to your  face. Also it's small enough to fit in the palm of your hand.
2. Bright Addiction eye shadow by Ofra (melon): I like this because you can very easily alter it based on what shade you want. You don't have to put a thousand coats on to make it a pretty bright melon color (over exaggerating but still. LOL). It has a nice feel too it and goes on smoothly. You may definitely see me with some more natural colors added with this one mixed in.
3. Mont-Bleu, luxury glass fashion nail file with swarovski crystals: I NEVER even knew about these until they sent me one in the wantable box. :) I love doing my nails and having them done, but i can't stand nail files. The feeling of them makes me nasous. So at first when i got this i wasn't very excited... Then i tried it on my nails.. OH MY GOODNESS it is aammaazziinngg! It files your nails smoothly. I would recommend this to anyone who is similar to me and doesn't like the feeling or noise of regular nail files :)
4. MICA Beauty Cosmetics LPL04 Mahogani Lip pencil: I do have to say this before i say any more. I don't normally wear lipstick! I will play with it sometimes and i don't really like lip liner. However every other kind of lip liner i have ever played with was harder and hurt my lips when i put it on. I had to push a little hard and it did nearly nothing. When i put this it's nice a creamy texture but it still stays, it dosent smudge once it is on with lipstick it stays pretty nicely.

5. Smooth Shadow Creamy eye pencil in the color 'raven' by Elizabeth Mott: This eye liner had me at 'Creamy eye pencil' i opened it so quickly and was most definitely not disappointed. This is the black version of their three colors.. yes i'm already picking out the other one to buy, i'm 90% sure i'll use this every day. It's nice, not too heavy on your eye lid, it has SPARKLES but they aren't big huge sparkles that get in your eyes and hurt, they are small and fine and don't pop out at you but are subtle. I fell in love with this product and will use it until i find somthing better. . . Saving The Best For Last Right??!!
OH! Do make sure if you buy this that you have an eye liner sharpener!
It sucks to have to put the eye liner on thick when it's not sharpened.

Here is the Wantable Shipping page for anyone who was wondering! :)
