Blogmas 2015: Day 15

All year I love peppermint, but especially this time of year there is something special about sitting down with some peppermint tea, coffee, or hot chocolate.
The other day I made some Peppermint White Hot Chocolate.
 I used Ghirardelli White Chocolate Bars and 'Organic Valley' organic whole milk. 

Stir milk and chocolate together.
Chocolate is almost melted!
Stir in extracts.

Whipped cream, marshmallows and peppermint.

- 4 cups of milk
- 8 oz. white chocolate, chopped
(Or white chocolate chips)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
- toppings!
Marshmallows, Crushed peppermints, Whipped cream 
[My Homemade Whipped Cream would do perfectly for this.]

1. Stir milk and chopped white chocolate together in a medium saucepan. 
2. Cook over medium heat (Do not boil), stirring occasionally, until simmer and the chocolate is melted. 
3. Remove from heat and stir in peppermint and vanilla extract. 
4. Serve warm, with toppings. 

(If you have to wait a while to drink or serve it, then heat up in microwave or on the stove and stir in white chocolate that has settled on top and add toppings!)
